It's somewhere around 14-15mpg - right now we're on winter gas and it reads 12.5mpg but that's on bigger than stock 33" tires too. And I don't have a light right foot! It's too easy to use the torque this has available...

Paid off in full - clean title, active, couple fender benders (I got the front bumper due to hitting a deer) but nothing major (no panels replaced nor mechanical items replaced besides drive shaft which tow company screwed up).

Damn! I would have to sell my DD: 09 Accord EX-L Coupe - 28mpg. I still owe $8G's on it.
I just showed this to my co-worker Ken. He loves it. His 03 Dodge P/U is falling apart & he is in the market. I sent him the link. I hope he buys it because I'd get to see it every day in person!

His 4x4 doesn't work anymore. His fenders & quarter panels are rotting out. Always dropping money into it for repairs. He loves my 4runner & can't believe it's a 99. It looks new compared to his 03. I've sold him on Toyota!

Sunday bump - had a deal on the table but it fell through.

Looking to get $16,000 USD for it still - Now has a PPI from the dealer stating mechanical shape - apparently the main seal weeps oil (not even enough to drip - perhaps from sitting?) and the brakes are worn (which I knew) and I'll probably do the power steering flush when my back feels up to it.

Yessir - I've been a member for a while over there with my 4Runner and so it was on my radar. Definitely the most interest it's garnered has been from ExPo.

If you don't like the colour, do a wrap!! Plasti-Dip the whole truck! I love this blue personally, and this is the last year of both reg cab short bed and the this Blue Streak colour. Rare combo in all.

Wish I had the money for it!

I knew I had a difficult resale on my hands when I bought the truck but with the mods I hoped to accomplish a look that is irresistible to most. I absolutely love the truck... Dreams of taking the bed off and making a customer camper that can stand on 4 posts and have the truck drive out from under it while setting up camp has been a thought in the back of my head.

It's the combination of V8 power (and lots of it!!) and the short wheel base with interior room for two (and gear behind the seat!) that is fantastic offroad. I was surprised for sure - it doesn't handle like a Tundra tank. Think more V8 reg cab Tacoma. I think the wheelbase is even shorter than the long bed second gen Tacoma!!

The truck is sitting pretty beside the house - hoping to find a new home so I can keep the bills paid while lawyers sort out my back claim.

The mods are fantastic and the truck is gorgeous! Priced great too! Only thing is most people probably need room for more passengers I guess... if I had the money, I'd love to buy this.
My guess is the right buyer will come along. I'm just surprised it hasn't happened yet.
