Fender flare rubber seal replacement?

I remember reading somewhere that the rubber is no longer avl but I went to the dealer today and it showed what we think are these trim pieces about 8.00 per piece and were color coded so I am looking for confirmation that they are avl and maybe someone has an exploded view of them?

I have mine off for paint but need these before I can put them back on so any help is much appreciated!

Looks like 13 which is what I saw at the dealer today so that should be what I need correct?

Thanks guys and I will check out the build thread as well.

The rubber between the limited flare and the fender? Part number 53853-35090-G0. I have two packs of them sitting next to me.

It's actually the sr5 flare but they come in a pack to do them all or do I need to buy them individually?

About how much am I looking at?

Thank you!

So it's the black ones? I didn't think those had trim. My SR5 has the limited style flares that are color matched and thats the p/n for that trim. I honestly haven't opens them yet but I believe when you order one, it's enough for one fender flare. I ordered two to get both my fronts done since I pulled them off a while back. I can take one out tomorow and look if you want.

It was around 30 bucks I think. But I went through a dealer. Online parts places may be cheaper

Just an FYI ... The local dealer here in SD is charging almost 3x the cost, per part, over what Camelback Toyota Online Parts charged me for those rubber pieces and plastic clips. For one single plastic piece it was $11 vs $30 at local dealer. MSRP was $16, dealer had nerve to charge me $30 ... WTF. They do this all the time!

I have the wide color matched flares on my sr5 as it's an 01 but if you could please let me know if 1= enough to do 1 flare so I can order 4 if that's the case.

There are multiple different part types and it REALLY VARIES by year and model.

You need to call a dealer (like Camelback Toyota Online Parts!) and give them your VIN so they can verify.

If you really want to use the internet like us to verify I'd suggest posting a picture of your flares plus the year and model.

Getting all my flares issues sorted out was a major pain and I don't think I could have done it without a dealer to help verify the part #s.

If you do call Camelback be sure to ask for the online parts department, then write down the #s, then go back and order them online using the website. The downside of a pure phone order is their system doesn't track it that well. You just wait for the package to show up.

I went back to the dealer today an ordered one so we will see when it comes in tomorrow but my shop cost was like 5.00 for the longest one although they only come in black it seems.

Mine where colored to match the paint when I got my seals.

Anyone had anymore luck finding these? Especially in color. I need the metallic silver. Mine look pretty crummy.

Anyone pulled them off and see what it looks like without the rubber in place?
