Fender flares. ( not what you think)

Anyone else have problems with their rear fender flares breaking off? My 07 keeps breaking tabs on the passenger side fender flare, the one on the quarter panel not the door.

Can you show us pictures? Have you bought new tabs? The factory tabs are non-reusable so if it popped off once it can't be popped back on securely.

Also, do you off-road or have you been in an accident? Sounds like some weird flexing or the door is not seating properly or something?

I'll snap a photo in the morning. I spend about fifty percent of my time offroad. Never been in an accident. there was a little gap about a year ago, and I made the mistake of pulling on it to see what came undone. That broke one more tab. one more has broken since.

Yes, my 08's driver's side rear broke a couple of tabs and was starting to rattle in the wind. 3M double sided tape and some silicone sealant and problem solved.

Maybe I'll take this opportunity to make a custom set. My old man loves to play with carbon fiber.

Oh, interesting you actually cracked the mounting brackets from the plastic skin. I wonder how that happened.

Just pull the entire thing off, then pull the mounting brackets. You can plastic weld them back together, then buy new tabs. You may even be able to get away with superglue
