Fiberglass front end??

So I've been thinking about getting a fiberglass hood that has a hood scoop, as I know the owner of a fiberglass company that specializes in pre runners glass, i was also thinking of doing 3" fiberglass flares in the front since they would probably repaint those to match the hood, I think it would also help with the rubbing of the 295's....would look lame or not?

I personally hate that look of fiberglass flares. But if it is what you want and you can get it done cheap and perfectly paint matched. Then i would say do it.

Just be sure to keep the old flares and hood incase you dont like it.

Also: most rubbing is usually on the pinch weld, bumper and UCA. None of which will be fixed with bigger fender flares.

Ya I might just End up doing the hood cuz I really want a scoop and if it's free hey why not, I'll have to put some deep thought into the fenders though

I looked into doing this but I.just think it will look akward in just the front end and stock in the rear but you can't do rear fiber glass flares in the rear

uh yes you can... its just super costly. but trust me you can do it. just cause no ones done it to a 3rd gen (to my knowledge) doesnt mean it cant be done.

I have indeed seen it on a 3rd generation on the rear but ya like he said super expensive!! I think as long as I didn't go with to bug of a flare in the front it wouldn't look to bad. I guess only time will tell!!

Agreed but they don't make the pre fabed ones for the rear only front.

Ya I'm not thinking about doing the rear just the front fenders and the hood, just have to see how much painting everything will run!
