Fidelity Services Extended Warranty 2020 4runner keep or no?

Wondering if this is worth it to go along with the TRD ORP I just bought. I got the Platinum (10yr/100k) $0 deductible down to $1800. I knew I had 30 days to cancel and they gave me a better interest APR when I took the warranty (also extended my term 3 months for less APR; I always pay off as early as possibly, but the lower payment is more flexible).

Two questions:

Is this warranty worth it, how is this company etc.?

I plan on modding. This only really affects parts directly modified correct? Preliminary list is:

C4 slimline front bumper w/ winch + LED bar
3" lift w/ UCAs(toytec, bilstein, icon stg ...havent decided) w/ 285/75/r17 bfg ko2 (may dip to 275, but a buddy is giving me 5 ko2 with <5000 miles on em for $500)
Gobi roof rack w/ ladder
2020 pro grill

down to road I will get a c4 rear bumper with spare tire swing out, but that's a pricy upgrade and a big mpg hit on top of the tires.

I trust the powertrain (inefficient but old reliable), but the electronics can get really expensive. (if the lcd screen goes out, that basically covers the cost of the warranty).

Should I keep or cancel? Anything helps!

First of all, that warranty through Toyota is $1,360 or less. I've heard terrible things about 3rd party warranties and, while I'd go with a manufacturer one, I'd never do an external one. I'd also check to see whether that warranty does indeed include the full cost of interior electronics, many don't - even some manufacturer ones.

Search for a thread here on extended warranty. It is the Toyota one and You are likely to get a much better deal. Sold by a dealer

Really appreciate it guys. Reached out to him and will certainly go OEM route if I maintain warranty. As for the second question...still worth it to have even with all the modding planned? Basically going to try to throw a lot of this stuff on after I hit 1,000 miles.

Bought the Toyota warranty on my 2013 Trail, it expired unused. I found a Toyota dealer in Kansas that was about half of what the local dealer want.

Bought a 2018 Sienna, local dealer wanted 2K, again bought out of state for less than half. Toyota Platinum zero deductible.

In the past Toyota has cracked down on dealers doing this, but it worked last year for me.

I did the same as you, bought a 3rd party wraparound warranty to cover everything and extend the coverage on items beyond powertrain... 6yr/100k miles... a little over $1800. My dealer includes a lifetime powertrain for free. As others have said, you can get the Toyota warranty cheaper. Thanks to this forum and [MENTION=108754]gamester5[/MENTION], I was able to cancel my 3rd party for a full refund and bought the Toyota Platinum 7yr/125k miles/$0 deductible for $1150. It's bumper-to-bumper coverage through Toyota and honored everywhere.
