FINALLY - 5th Gen Lo Pro/Slimline Bumper (10 - 13)

If you've seen them on Instagram, Adventure Motors is based out of Missouri and they do some amazing work outfitting, fabricating, buying and selling overland vehicles... a lot of which are 4Runners.

In speaking to one of their employees on Instagram, I'm told there is going to be a group buy offering early next month. More details to follow and I've offered to help organize through the forum.

They haven't landed on any pricing just yet but I'm told it will be comparable to all other similar hybrid/lo pro/slimline bumpers for the 14+ market.

Interesting, I have a 17 but cool to see a local company to me make a product like this. They are about 20 min away, maybe I should stop by and check out their shop sometime.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that the V2 quietly hanging out on your Silver Trail on insta? (/stalker :) )

EDIT: based on comments on those pics it is not the V2. Never mind me. Will keep waiting on something official.

Anxiously awaiting a more official release announcement and more pics.

We are slated to have V2 ready and installed for the RedClayRally that's coming up June 1st.
We will post up bare steel, powder coated, and installed images to this thread and our website really soon!

This is great timing, I just bought a '10 and was lamenting the lack of hybrid bumpers for the early 5th gen. I will definitely get one.

Got an update email from this thread hoping to see V2 of the bumper and come to find out it's spam. WTF!? :uzi:

Funny, I'm in just the opposite mindset. I was hoping for something like this for the 10-13 and had recently given up. I went and bought a front mount hitch, winch cradle, and quick connects for the winch power.

Now I'm 100% on board for this bumper.

Anyone want to buy a front mount hitch (mounted but never used), winch cradle (NIB) and power quick connects? Assuming of course that this is real and not another ghost story, as has happened previously with a 10-13 bumper of this style.

How about it [MENTION=147044]AdventureMotors[/MENTION] ? Did you finish up V2 for RedClayRally last weekend? Did you take lots of pictures? Is it "really soon" yet? I'm on the edge of my seat.

Sorry for the delayed response folks!
Michael here (the owner) and I have been SLAMMED busy with getting a house remodeled... I'm doing most of the work, and I shouldn't be!
I haven't logged on in about 1.5 weeks!

We did run into a snag that put it back on the plasma table (after the plasma table had to get fixed which was another delay)
My fabricator is a perfectionist (thankfully!) and wanted to make some final tweaks to the front skin after getting the first one formed up. The bumper flowing with the front end is super duper important to us so getting it 100% right, even with it taking an extra few weeks than we anticipated, is worth it in the long run.
Once this thing is done and ready we plan on burning out at least 25 bumpers on the first run.

I'll post some teaser pics up tomorrow.
We've got quite a few rigs at the shop currently that are waiting for the bumper, so we are moving as fast as we can!

Congrats on the house upgrades, it can't be ALL about the trucks :) Sorry you got roped into becoming your on contractor. Amazing how often that happens with that type of project.

Can't wait to see the teaser pics tomorrow.

I thought I was anxious to see this thing, but I'm just waiting on a bumper. Poor [MENTION=122121]Trialrun[/MENTION] is waiting on an entire rig! Hang in there man, it'll be so worth it.

Ha, i'm a firm believer in "good things come to those that wait". To that end, i'm letting them do their thing, no rush or concerns on my end. Well except for the fact that my wife is getting annoyed that I keep add things I want them to put on, luckily she's not seeing the bill :biggrin2:
