Finally Found A Truck

After a long search for a truck I finally got this 95 4Runner. I started looking at these toward the end of 2011, then started looking for a Land Cruiser instead, and got sick of having the seller call me to tell me it's sold when I'm half way to his house with cash in hand. (that happened 4 times, and twice in one day!)

V6, auto, 2wd. I was really hoping for a stick, but every manual 4Runner had either stupid high mileage or was gratuitously overpriced.

This will serve as a winter DD and summer tow vehicle. I'm looking at winter tires and as soon as I can find someone that sells D-window steelies I'll be set for the season. I'll probably add some driving lights but that's it.

I hope it works out for you. Not sure if you know the history of the 3vze, just dont let her overheat (headgasket is the achilles heal) and she'll take care of you.

No i wish that shows awesome. Im saying he got a good deal. People are asking 3000 for 200k beat up 4runner here.

Here too, in Texas 4runners hold there value, hell any 4x4 does for that matter

But yeah, I think he got a good deal, as long as theres no leaks or anything mechanically wrong

price doesn't seem right to me with that 3.0 and some of the bumper rust and also only 2wd, hows the frame?

Frame is great. It's from Florida but has been here in OH for a couple years, but never saw much use. If it were crispy underneath I would not have bought it. I'm so sick of dealing with rust.

About overheating the V6, is it a headgasket going out that usually overheats it or does the overheating ruin the headgaskets? I'm debating replacing the gaskets now before they go bad and cause a problem down the road.
