Finally found good rotors online!

Yeah everybody...I am still here! I havent been on the site in a long time, mainly because of work and my new hobby-PAINTBALL!

Anyways-to the point.

So I have been waiting for the Brembo rotors to come into stock on tirerack.com since the beginning of October. Well, as you all know this rotor has been pushed back for months now. After seeing them state it wouldnt be in stock until February of 2008, I had to do something different. I searched everywhere for opinions on what other rotors to get. Eventually, after replacing my wifes rotors on her Accord with Raybestos PG Plus, and seeing that they are really well made, I decided to go with them too. I ordered them through Rockauto.com, and they will be arriving in another 2 days. Couldnt be happier. Also, I would highly suggest everyone checks out that website for parts for any car. I got the rotors shipped for $122! That is $50 cheaper than if I went to Advance Auto Parts and bought it at the store!

Long time no see Shaun. I'm trying to unload some old paintball gear so let me know if you need a hpa tank or hoppers etc.

Please report back after a week or two of the installation to review the true performance.

I was one of those who also cancelled my Tirerack-Brembo order after 4 months of waiting.

Thanks Sharp---Already got all the stuff I need though! Will be going to PEVS @AG on the 29th of Dec to play with a few buds. Let me know if you will be there.

I will let you all know how they are when I get them on. May be a little while since I am working at traveling WAY too much right now.

I've used the Raybestos PG (Blue box) in the past. But they were very hard. Then didn't wear at all, but caused alot of noise when breaking. I hope they've since fixed those issues. Please let us know.

Do you already need new rotors? I've had my rotors turned once when I got new pads, but they looked fine to me. I didn't take a caliper to them and measure though. I've got about 40k on the truck now and I was hoping I'd at least get another 20-30k out of the front rotors.

I got new rotors since turning them was about the same cost at my local shop as getting new ones (since I wasnt going to have them install the new brakes.)

I have driven about 400 miles so far on them, and they are awesome! I love them. Real linear application with the Akebono Pads all around. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting new rotors for the front.

Whenever I had rotors turned in the past, they didnt last for too much longer. They warped really quickly.
