Finally Installed FJ Coils/Bilstein 5100s :D

So I had to get FJ Coils and Tacoma Bilstein 5100s to improve my ride. I previously had Daystar 2.5" leveling spacers and they HAD to go. Soo I decided to go with the Bilsteins and FJ Cruiser Coils, and I will tell you, I have NOT BEEN HAPPIER. Heres a few pics. In total, it lifted about 2 inches all around over the daystars. I have a 3" body lift as well so total, Im around 6.5" lift. Heres some pics. I will post more

For the Daystar spacers, I tried to reintall over the Bilsteins but the rake was HORRIBLE in the rear, uninstalled and it looks beautiful. Bilsteins are on 3rd notch BTW.

Sure thing man. In the rear, I have Bilstein 5100s that go on Tacomas and in order to mount the shocks, i had to find a better location for them; this is because the tacoma shock mounts are differet than ours. I welded a bolt on the exterior near our wheel well, and mounted the shock there. I basically relocated them somewhere where they could maintain travel and hold good structure. I pushed them out and it works perfectly that way. And those FJ Coils are a nice addition.

Then I had the Daystar suspension spacers that go on top of the shock above the coil. Those I added but then removed from my Bilsteins when I noticed the rake looked absolutely horrible. Also, suspension spacers are a horrible idea and stress out components and injure your shocks over time.

Yes, I have not decided which coils i am going to use in the front. My current coils are perfectly fine and the rear end is what matters to me.

Anything special you have to do to put FJ Coils on our 4runners? Will this work on my 96 Limited? Looks bad ass. Did the Coils alone raise the vehicle? and How much?

I used the FJ Superflex coils. And they added around 2" alone. The rear end had a huge rake but adjust my Bilsteins and its perfect now!

Nope, nothing special. Those coils fit us perfectly but will require a lift in the front. If you install them alone, they will make your truck look dumb, i.e. Huge rake! And yes, those coils should do fine on ur truck.
