....and finally get to lift my 4Runner.
I've been using the forum for years (got my runner in 06), but never had a reason to post, so never joined. The day has come where I finally have something to contribute! (will be posting in maintenance section shortly).
In AZ for another month, then moving to Ft Campbell, KY/TN.
2001 SR5 4WD, locking rear diff, 160k miles (transmission rebuilt around 100K).
Still have the stock suspension, its dead, which means my wife has to let me replace it now, and a OME lift from Toytec isn't much more then stock springs with Tokico shocks when all is said and done. So, after much research, ordered my OME lift kit from Toytec today; 881 Front/890 Rear. Ordered the diff drop kit too. Hope to add a winch and maybe a bumper at some point.
Mostly just do mild to moderate offroading for hunting and to get to backpacking locations/trailheads.
Not sure what else goes in an intro, but I do want to say thanks to all of you who have made my life much easier by posting useful info on here, especially the how to guides (just saved about $500 doing timing belt & water pump myself). Thanks!
