To those guys wanting to get the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS, it is a great tire, very smooth and quiet. I have them on my 4runner, you can find the pics in other threads if you search.

Any updates on these. I'm looking for new tires, and as much as I want some KM2s, I know these will better suit me. I drive highway everyday, and only offroad a couple times a year. I haven't seen any long term updates on these though...

This is how it sits as of now.

I don't have one complaint about these tires. They ride smooth, less road noise than my old road tires and have a nice semi-aggressive look. I would have loved to gone with the KM2's as well, but like you i am mainly on the road. Last week i took my kids on a road trip, roughly 1,000 miles, and they were fine. In the rain, i haven't had any issues. Since you are in Indiana i am sure you are wondering about how they do in snow. Unfortunately, i can't give you any feedback on that......not much snow in AL....lol.

Overall i am very pleased with them.

Well since it has been a few years now, how did the BFG Rugged Terrain's work out? Still running 'em? If not, how long did they last? Looking to get some new ones this week but still cant decide between the Rugged Terrains, All Terrains or going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Got the Yokohomo Geo's now in 265/65/17. Leaning towards the Rugged Terrains in 265/70 OR 265/75 to get a bit more height in there. I've already ordered the DS 1.5/2.5 spacers.

I sold those tires about a year later because i had switched out my suspension for more lift and went with the BFG AT tires. When i sold the Rugged Terrains they still looked brand new. I would have gone with them again but they didn't have them in the size tire i was going for. I figured since i was buying a new set i would go ahead and get the AT's since i had always liked them and wanted a set. If you go with the Rugged Terrains you will really like them. The AT's are a good bit heavier than the Rugged Terrains.
