Freedom awaits...... Finally closed on a brand new not even finished house. Would have been finished had I not asked for some drastic changes and things added.

Now I hope spring arrives even faster as this move from chicago is going to be a nightmare with the amount of motorcycles and 2 extra cars I have and wait for work to actually honor the transfer.

And yes its in the smokey mountains :bravo:

Shockingly that was in fall it was mid Oct. when i had gone down there to look at places. can't imagine it looking much different considering GA stays fairly mild.

Its nice to know i have 3 states to play in GA, NC and TN all with in a 10 min drive. Oh and the road I have to take to get there oh what a shame right thru the National forest. The girl friend was like it will take you an hour or so to get to work I was like yeah look at the road I have to take LOL let alone on a sport bike I'm not complaining.

Funny after talking to the locals in the area when i was there they were like if snow does far the whole town is pretty much shut down. Im thinking to myself they have no idea what snow is outside of the dusting they may get.

What sold me on the purchase tho was this exact view.

I surely won't miss the non stop shooting that have start up in the last few weeks in my area. 6 in the last week and a half. Always a nice sight be stuck in traffic to finally find out oh its because some guy was shot in the head in the middle of the street

Oh you guys don't get the big color change of the leaves there? Oh well. That view and the mountain roads on a bike are well worth it, IMO.

GA stays in the 50's most of the time. At least all the times i have been there. Ill know once I actually live a year there to figure it out. One thing that will take getting use to tho is these

Women was taking a bath when we were looking and this is what came swimming up on her. The scream was priceless not to mention her falling out of the tub on the floor and dashing out of the bathroom naked :cheer2:

And the bears will take a bit to get use to I'm sure also watching out for the dogs even tho they can handle themselves.
