Awhile back some of you requested a group buy for First aid kits.

At first I couldn't find a good vendor that was willing to work with me. A few days ago I saw Xpedition Outfitters discussing Outerlimit supply's first aid kits:

So I contacted Xpedition Outfitters and started to get the ball rolling:

Damn these are nice boxes/med kits. But efin a they are $. Then again can't put a price on medical.

Is there a way to get just get the box as empty ?

Ya pricey even after group buy but I'm in for a day trip kit. Also any word on where it's being shipped from. Some people might be close and just go pick it up. Maybe save the shipping cost as well.

i have a Q for 5th gens: where are you guys going to put these? I'd like to get one, but the hard case isn't really convenient...anywhere, really, except like in the photos...back of a swingout.

I have a swing-out on the way ;-). But if I didn't...it would go into one of the Action Packers I use. One has recovery gear and is always in the rig so probably here. One has all the cooking/kitchen stuff. One has all the sleeping stuff except the tent (normally we use hammocks).

I'll eventually build a low-profile drawer system in the back and it will go in there.

I wish this would have happened last year! I put together a my own kit, with the bag, the first responder refill kit, meds, all the extras (that weren't included in the refill), and it easily cost the full price. This is a pretty good deal. Just sayin'

Here's another thing to think about. If you already have an FSA for medical setup through work then you can use those funds for first aid kits if you have funds that are going to expire at the end of the year. Every year I see how much I have left and stock up on bandaids, gauge, and whatever else is needed. If I have enough I'll buy an actual first aid kit.

They sell refills, I will see if the vendor can get you a deal on just a refill.

Kolelt, unfortunately we do not sell our cases separate from the supplies. We choose these colors so that those that are familiar with our kits can easily identify them and know what each kit contains. For example, the orange Day Tripper does contain trauma dressings but does not have a pressure dressing (yellow Weekend Warrior) or a tourniquet (red Outback).

Mark, the mounting plates are specific/indexed to our cases. It may not work with Pelican or SKB cases.

A small portion of our customers mount them to their swing outs. Most will use the mounting plate to mount them to a roll cage or a flat panel. Some will stick velcro to the back of the case and then stick it to their carpet. We recommend using a strap through the handle in this arrangement so that it doesn't become a projectile in the event of an accident...the velcro may not keep it secure without additional safety measures.

Jrandom, thank you. Please keep us in mind should you need a refill. We sell all of our contents separate from the cases.

Very good point. We usually start hitting the Social Media in November regarding FSA accounts.
