First brake job - Can someone recommend rear brake pads for 2008 SR5 V6?

True, I think I got over 100k on my current set of OEM rears. But pad life is more indicitive of type of driving and driving habits than anything. Some are going to be rougher on brakes than others. Towing and off-roading will play a factor as well as other things. You can't really go off of what others get.

Just replaced my brakes with Wagner QC976 (rear) and MX606 (front). I am right at 90k and had less than 1/2 pad left in front and about 1/2 in the rear. Rotors and calipers looked good.

Good thread. At 93K on original pads, 2008 4runner.
I've used Napa pads on previous SUV and had at least 110K on them before I sold it.

I bought OEM when I replaced my fronts. Mainly because I was very happy with the lack of dust and longevity of the OEMS.

Like most performance pads, they do dust a bit, but not that bad.

I have EBC green pads... and I think that they had A LOT of brake dust. They have only lasted around 30-40k miles. My first set of rear OEM pads lasted around 80-90k miles. I will be going back to OEM pads.
