First Gen Body Removal

I'm looking at pulling body off the frame. Most accessible place I can see for my lift/shop is the rocker pinch welds. I've got some full length oak beams I can support the entire length of each rocker pinch weld, then place lift pads under those. I can screw/bolt the lift arms and beams for stability but not sure if body weight can be supported by rockers. Any one have first hand experience?
Thanks, S.

as long as you unhook the radiator lines, fuel filler, any wiring etc i am pretty sure that the rockers would support the weight
my old 84 truck supported the entire weight of the truck on the passenger side when i got wedged on a 4 wheel trip a lifetime ago before the days of rock sliders

For future searches. Since top and doors were already off I lifted by upper door hinge mounts and rear seat belt center mounts. Gave me room to pull body AND set it down on trailer. Completely solo to boot. Had images but not allowed :(
