Hi everyone,
Tim here. Ive always loved Toyotas and their reputation just never got around to buying one. I just purchased a 95 4Runner SR5 for a sweet deal. I was looking for more of a "work" vehicle as i just bought a 12 Regal GS this past july and need to stop using it for work. I own a 93 Bronco as well that i am currently rebuilding. Its more a toy and its just taken me a lot longer to get back on the road due to work.
But so far i am very happy with this truck. Everything works well. Sunroof, rear window were a plus.
I have a few small plans for the truck but nothing major. I am looking to upgrade the electrical, especially the alternator. i thought my bronco was bad with a 95A stock haha. After upgrading all my wiring on my bronco (one of fords downfalls around that time) i plan to do the same. Battery and ground wires. bigger alternator if i can find something that can work with little modification. I will probably add a brush guard and of road lights because i love the look on my bronco.
Also after testing out the 4WD, i would love to get lockers. I am new to lockers and dont know much about them but i believe because i do a lot of on-road driving and its a DD, it would benefit to get air lockers. My 4R felt like it was still in 2WD because it barely went anywhere in 4WD
Aside from that i am just going to clean up the fenders a bit and get a set of fender flares.
Thats about all i have. Thanks
Tim
