Fixing dents?

There is a dent on my rear bumper from the previous owner. (I guess I over exaggerated in my last description. It has been a while since I had looked at it and I guess over time it got bigger in my head.) Is there a way to fix this my self, and how would I go about doing it?

The top dent isn't as bad as it looks, the botom one is more what I am worried about.

You could pull it off and hammer the dent from behind and use a little bondo but you would then need to paint the whole bumper because the finish will be ruined. It looks like all you need is the rear bumper extension.

I'm assuming you have a third gen, 1996-2002? They are sold on eBay for about $65.

If the center blade of your bumper is affected, it's available on eBay too. I replaced mine a few months ago. Do a search here because I posted the Factory Service Manual (FSM) diagram of the rear bumper a couple of weeks ago. You need to make sure you buy new bolts while you're at it if you replace these parts as they are usually rusted.
