Flowmaster 44 on a 3.4L?

Has anyone used a flowmaster 44 on their 3.4L? My buddy had it on his 22RE and he's selling it for a good price and my stock muffler is showing some rust and signs of replacement.

I had one on my Tacoma and it sounded good....

i just have that dump pipe so it resonates through the entire underside and sounds better than out a pipe off the side, easier too.

My only concern would be the rust in and on the Flowmaster.

I had a Flowmaster 40 on my Runner and it rusted through where the internal baffles are welded on the inside.

the only thing thats rusting on mine is the chrome exhaust tip
