What kind of fluids is everyone running in their rigs? I have lots of experience with 22re's but not so much with the 5vzfe. What does it like and dislike?

Zerex Asian in the radiator, and whatever's cheap everywhere else. Fluid change interval is more important than what brand you run, IMO. The only other place I'd run a specific fluid is in the manual trans, if you have one - GL4 for the win there, I like Redline MT90 but there's a couple other options out there.

Well as far as motor oil in my 22re I have found and learned the hard way that the motor and turbo loves Mobil 1 synthetic, but upon switching to royal purple the oil killed my turbo's bearings after running and driving it for about 10 miles so I was wondering if any oils don't work well in the 5vz.

i stick with mobile 5-30 conventional and I used Toyota T-4 trans fluid. the diffs I use pennzoil 75-90 full synthetic. I wanted to run the toyota oem diff fluid but it was too damn expensive
