Simple question.
I'm replacing my fog lamps to get a bit more output from my lights. I will eventually change the headlights to LED from Xenondepot, but want to go ahead and change my fogs.
What is the advantage of white or yellow for normal driving on the road?
Keep in mind that brighter fogs will actually reduce your distance vision down the road. Not a big deal off road or at lower speeds I guess but definitely something to consider if your overall goal is better vision at night.
I don't think yellow actually has any benefit. White is more natural, so it will be easier to tell what you're looking at. A sharp beam cutoff is more important if you want to use them in actual fog and snow.
Have you ever driven in heavy fog/snow with yellow fogs?
Just asking because I think it makes a huge difference.
Luckily we don't get a huge amount of heavy fog around here. I have never owned a vehicle with yellow fogs.
Please explain this rational to me? Lumens down the road is lumens down the road.

After reading this... I may switch to yellow fogs. It sounds they would be much more helpful in the Maine snow and fog. The white do not help all that much. I rarely use them.
