Wow I thought I would at least get some response to this. It seems everyone is always looking for a Sport Hood.
What is the deal? Too expensive? Make me an offer?
The rock chips? They aren't really all that bad, and some of what you see in the pictures is water droplets or reflections.

I am open to suggestions and offers.

Yes the new grilles will also work with this hood.

The hoods are the same 03-09, it is only the grilles that are different, all grilles will mount to this hood.

In fact, Using a newer grill will cover most of the touched up rock chips as the new grilles cover a bit of the front of the hood.

So here is the deal with shipping since a few have asked.
I would be willing to ship but I have some concerns.

Shipping will probably be around $75 to $100 with Greyhound.

I will pack it up as best as I can, but they are a little rough with cargo, that is how the little tiny bend that is in the corner got there. Also since the hood is not 100% mint I would like the buyer to be able to see it in person first. If I have to ship it to you, then you would not get to see it until after you have purchased it, and as you can imagine, this isn't something that is an easy return. Of course I would gladly give you your money back if you really felt compelled to send the hood back, I would not be able to refund shipping as this would be money I would not be able to get back either.

Yes it will fit a 2008, I am not sure I would be able to meet halfway though. That would probably cost both of us about a tank of gas each, which is about what shipping costs, not to mention unfortunately I wouldn't have the time to drive out there.

If you are up for the drive to Tampa I would be happy to meet you somewhere off I4 close to Tampa. Otherwise make me an offer including shipping, a rough quote for shipping to Daytona Beach is $70 for space available and $90 for same day.

For Sale 4th Gen Sport Hood Galactic Gray with all factory scoop inserts.

This works with all 4th Gens 03-09. The only difference between early and late models is the grille. You need to swap your current grille over to this hood.

Hood is not in perfect condition, it is used and has more than average rock chips. All rock chips have been touched up but you can see them when you look close. I have tried to take pictures of all damage, one of the corners close to the windshield was bent in shipping to me, it is barely noticeable and only when you look close.
I ran with it on for over a year and love it, I am starting to go back to stock as I prepare to sell the 4Runner.

Hood has already been removed from the 4Runner and is ready to be picked up
