Carfax is a joke. Don't use it for something like this.

SuperChargers sound nice but ...

COB bought one and had to pay for it to be rebuilt.
Dirtco had his rebuilt 3 times (under warranty).

I don't know any other names but getting them rebuilt (often) seems to be pretty common.

The only way I would consider it is if I had the skills to install it myself and it came with a lifetime manu warranty.
