I'm sorry for your loss...real talk though the 460 isn't that bad. Where is. Picture of this ugly duckling? I am picturing a single cab, long bed with a lift gate and vinyl interior with crank windows...

It's hardly worth a pic. It's a rusty dented crewcab longbed. It is an XLT, which means cruise and power windows, and it's got buckets which I like a lot better than the bench in the one I used to own. But it's mostly a trashed out beater that'll be just perfect for hauling crap to the dump and occasional furniture duty.

The mileage is way too crappy for anything else. :)

One of my favorite trucks are the early 90's F250/350 crew can long beds with the IDI international engine, 5 speed with a banks sidewinder kit....

Kid, FocusFanatics is branching off and we've started a whole ford forum :) We need help getting the word out lol. Come join up. I've got the same user name there, and a whole hell of a lot of posts. haha.

seriously though... We've got some really brilliant members joining up.

sweet. Actually I got a mod I'd like you to do if you'll provide pics for the how-to. The 7.5 section is completely empty save for my how to I just made. ( seriously the site's only been live for a few weeks lol)

I don't have one to do this on and you have the perfect vehicle for it.

In the meantime, I don't know what a good ford truck forum would be that isn't full of agitated members. lol

Why do you want an non turbo in-direct injection diesel, the only saving grace is the 5 speed, in that era you could get the 12 valve 6BT which was turbo'd and was also stick.

I've already owned a 6BT and I have a weird thing for the under dogs. I also love the old GM Detroit diesels despite everyone else thinking they're trash.

Bye bye street legal 4runner :lmao: :driving:

You know that the internets doesnt work without pictures...

I think you are being saving then haha. The GM V8 diesels were trash haha, it was fact not opinion lol. That cummins has got to be one of if not the most widely used motors ever made, considering it has been in many industrial, automotive, and also in machines as well.
