Fords catching on fire has been a big problem for a while. This recall started with some vehicles in 1999, they just been adding to it since that time. My F-150 caught on fire once, so I know first hand how they can just start on fire. Mine was the wiring harness to the alternator, no recall but a known problem. Makes you wonder why imports are starting to beat the domestics in sales, hmmmm(sarcasm)
