Foreign love of 4runners

hello all. the woman and I just got back from a week on vacation in Iceland. Beautiful country.

Even more beautiful was the over abundance of Toyotas, specifically the Land Cruisers which for the purpose of sharing, I'm considering just about the same as 4Runners.

Here a few pics of what I saw over there. They REALLY love their big mud tires. I would bet a good 4 out of 10 vehicles was some form of the 120 platform (Tacoma, Hilux, Land Cruiser, etc). The one guy I found parked had 405/70/R15's on his rig!

I enjoyed this and through all of you might as well.

Technically they are not so much MTs as they are winter tires meant to float in snow and such. But yeah, Netherlands Trucks/SUVs are cool!

Oh man - you just completed an entry on my mod list… 40" tires, daystar leveling kit - no rubbing. WINNING! Seriously though - those are some cool looking rigs. Kinda like this Hilux
