Found a $19,000 3rd gen today

Mine is supercharged, elocked, and just as clean if not cleaner, with only 124K. I'll sell it to anyone on here for $18K. :biggrin1:

Seriously, you guys that are paying these crazy prices out west need to check into some airfare. You could fly down here and pick up a nice truck, spend a couple of days on the beach, then drive it home and still have a fat stack in your pocket after expenses. :faint2:

That, or for rust free vehicles. You northerners need to look south for your vehicle. Will cost half has much and be twice as solid due to the lack of cancer.
That can afford you several unpaid days off work, airfare, then road trip back.

Therefore after running some numbers and calling my people I have decided to list my truck for sale at the low price of $29,781. First one to send PayPal gets it.

I could find a 4th gen with the 4.7L and the same mileage (maybe less) AND be able to add all that crap for 19k. If it were supercharged, had well below 100k miles, and was mostly STOCK, then it would be worth closer to 19

You're a little low on that valuation. Add in sentimental attachment and you're looking more like $35000. Never underestimate the power of subjective valuation
