Found a CB antenna, help

So... talking to my dad about my car when I told him how I don't have a CB antenna yet.

He turns and says, why don't you use the one in the garage? Wouldn't you know, an antenna just sitting there, and apparently has been for years. Dad used to use it on our old motor home.

Awesome, so got one. He say's in been tuned, I'm not sure if it has to be individually tuned per CB, but I'd like to try it plug and play to see if it works.

One thing though, not really familiar with these antennas, and I am not sure exactly what I need to connect to it. I can order a coaxial cable for it, run the wires, all that, no problem, but looking at the end of it just confused me. Any light shed on this would be of tremendous help.

Sorry, iPhone pics, hard to focus

there's another piece it screws into with the coax fitting on it. should be able to find it at a radio shack or truck parts store...

Antennas are tuned to the install, including radio and cable run. When you go to RadioShack get yourself a SWR meter and tune your antenna in.
