FOX DSC reservoir install pics?

Don't mean to bring up an old thread.

I attempted to install 285 tires today, it was a no go due to the tire rubbing on the fox reservoir hose.

To clarify, you did have to loosen the hose fitting to allow the reservoir to be installed with the DSC adjusters up top? It's looking like I'm needing to do the same to allow for a larger tire fitment.

Can the hose be bent/manipulated? I haven't tried to man handle the hose to bend it a certain way. Wasn't sure if the hose is meant to be bent any which way or if it's meant to be rigid?

You can loosen the fitting slightly, enough to manipulate the fitting, just be careful not to loosen it too much you'll lose oil.

How is your resi hose aligned? It would have to be kind of wonky to hit the tire.

It's setup like pictured above.

When the steering wheel is turned all the way, the edge of the tire rubs up against the hose...this is with 285/70/17 KO2 tires that they fit tested the other day. The hose sticks out tjust a small amount farther than the UCA at the bend towards the reservoir. I'm hoping my description is making sense

Repositioning it the way you have yours pictured should solve the issue hopefully

Several people including me have had issues with the hoses binding causing you to force fit in the intended locations. I can see the hose bind in photos people are posting so that's why I said in general that fox told me you can loosen the hose nuts to adjust if needed and not worry about losing oil or nitrogen. Hopefully this will help those with bind issues.

It was a pain but was defiantly worth it!!! I'm overly happy with these shocks on all 4 corners.

this is the only thing I was hoping someone would have some experience with before I tried it, thank you! my coilover reservoir hoses rub on my duratrac 285/70/17s at full lock on both sides, and installing them with the adjustment knobs at the top and hose fitting facing towards engine bay would solve everything, just wasn't sure it was something I could do myself or I was going to have to take into to a full service type place.

outside of that, I do love these Fox units at all 4 corners. the no tool adjustability for a plush ride around town and proper dampening off road at high and low speeds is a super nice luxury to have, and it works as advertised. plus, I love that they're black and you can take all the stickers off for as much more discreet look, I hate looking like a rolling street banner .
