A recent revelation has sparked my curiosity regarding a minor quantity of trash talk via another member's post and highjacking it thereafter. Seems that there are a choice few on here that find the need to voice their opinion regarding another's views and/or ideals when it comes to their own vehicle and therefore property, and choose to do so an absurdly disrespectful manor.

I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this and cares to post on THIS thread any thoughts to voice things they don't necessary care for and perhaps giving the reasons why, and therefore allowing others to defend their choices. BUT LETS KEEP IT RESPECTFUL PLEASE. No cursing, name calling nor anything of the like. Simply share your "dislikes," defend your "likes" and move on.

It started with a simple sticker question thread I stumbled upon, wherein a few individuals (all from the same state, oddly enough) chose to use that thread to quite rudely talk down about the OP's potential choices, instead of constructive criticism or simple finding something else to whine about...

Let's see where this goes, if anywhere.

(And I totally understand if a moderator wants to remove this thread, I'm only looking to direct this behavior to a single locale, instead of the aforementioned highjacking)

Animal feces is a leading component of fertilizer, and therefore is used to grow and develop luscious fruits and vegetables, which in turn tastes good....

It's the Internet... lots of people talk shit and post stupid nonsense while hiding behind a keyboard, that's just the way these forums are sadly

And just by the description, it's fairly common here. People love it when you mod your rig, but it has to follow a certain set of unwritten rules for good feedback. If you want to say lower your 4Runner, find another site. You're not going to see much help here.

Which is funny to me being every one of us came to this site because we enjoy owning a 4Runner and/or looking for info on them.

It's not that it bothered me, I just got bored and wanted a larger sounding board for people to vent. I honestly couldn't care less.

And it IS in the off topic, at least on Tapatalk it says it is...

And no. Hell no. Not doing politics. But I like your enthusiasm.

What's the deal with the influx of rooftop LED light bars?

putting holes into one's roof for the sake of mimicking the sun? I've never been in an environment necessitating 2.5 million candle-power overhead... But then again I haven't been everywhere either....

Not gonna lie, I've looked into them, but seeing it takes drilling holes into my perfect good metal body turns me off quicker than a queef
 
Ima guessing it has to do with the exaggerated possibility that the 4Runner owner will be hunting down zombies in the near future.

Let me refresh others memory, stickers on vehicles are lame and tasteless.
showing to the world that your family is fertile with stick stickers is lame, pretending that you are a racer is lame and tasteless.
If you want to be perceived as lame and tasteless is entirely up to you just like it`s up to me to express my opinion on the matter. I don`t talk you down just state my opinion, constructively I might add.

"symbols for the symbol minded" is another category, somewhat acceptable in my books.
 
Oh man that means I need to step my game up then and make the move...since my rig is a self proclaimed wrecking ball
