From slammed to lifted

Hello everyone!

New to 4runner and to forum! Excuse my newb questions as it is a completely new platform/lifestyle I am diving into.

Living in Cedarburg (north of milwaukee). Love to snowmobile out west and in the UP! getting into photography ATM so look for pictures to come!

Already started to pile up mods for my 15 SR5P. TRD wheels, KO2s, TRD grill conv. TRD skid plate (wrecked my stocker), and a small 1.5 spacer lift for the front all awaiting install.

Will say this right away people on the 4runner forum are so much nicer than e90post! :bounce:

Future plans: Billy 5100 w/ toytec 3" lift, gobi roof rack w/ ladder, TRD intake maybe.

Love my 4runner so far! friends had them and loved riding in them so much I finally got my opportunity!:party:

man I am in the same boat, just traded in my Ibis White 2013 Audi S5 that was dropped and made the jump and got a 2015 Attitude Black TRD Pro ahha. Congrats

E36 can be made to be crazy fast especially if your on a budget too. :guitar2:

BMW handling is like no other but scraping everywhere I go....:pout:

No i just run over curbs and "bottoming out" is not a fear!:)

I came so close to buying an S5 when I was looking. These 4runners tho are just nuts!

Thats what my BMW guy was saying. He said that the M52 can put out 900hp without touching the bottom end. I can't confirm this since its my first BMW so only time will tell. I feel you on scraping over everything. I hated it in my mustang. I had a 96 with a 2" drop and i hated having to worry about hitting crap. Especially since the roads in WA aren't exactly lowered or big rim friendly.
 
New member here too. I have a 2014 335 M Sport in white and a 2015 Trail Edition....glad I don't have to pick one, but if I did, it would be the 4Runner!

If that's the feeling you get then keep up the good work and don't ask any questions about 285's rubbing/air intakes/basic lift advice/whether the 6th gen will have a V8/what tires to buy/if anyone has experience with 5100's/do I need new UCA's with a lift/etc. ...

I all seriousness though, members of this forum can be very helpful as long as you ask a specific question to which there is a specific answer, which hasn't been asked 100 times and could have been answered by searching.
 
im in the same boat, slammed to lifted. '12 Mini Countryman S AWD lowered to '15 SR5. No more bumping my head leaning in to get stuff out the car.
 
Nice looking E90!! Welcome to the board! I know what its like coming from a slammed car to an SUV. But then again, I went from a truck to a car and into an SUV. All of which I still own. My EP3 was slammed and man those bumps, pot holes and whatever random sh!t youll find on the road, I cringed everytime. Now I just run just about anything over
 
Congrats on the purchase! Ride looks good. After going from a lowered vehicle to something that sits a little higher, I don't think I could go back. That's just me though!
