If that's the feeling you get then keep up the good work and don't ask any questions about 285's rubbing/air intakes/basic lift advice/whether the 6th gen will have a V8/what tires to buy/if anyone has experience with 5100's/do I need new UCA's with a lift/etc. ...

I all seriousness though, members of this forum can be very helpful as long as you ask a specific question to which there is a specific answer, which hasn't been asked 100 times and could have been answered by searching.

So, I guess what question hasn't been answered yet over a dozen times?

Yep, you're not alone. I still have my slightly-less-than-stock '10 GTI; it's a bit of a change for sure. I just don't think things should be stock height--lift it or lower it

since this has turned into a who has a yota and a bmw thread (LOL). Im picking up another one. 2000 740il im trading my 82 turbo volvo to my brother in law for his moms bmw which im going to try and trade for a toyota pickup. Ill try and get some better pic this weekend when i got detail it and see why its starting to overheat. Hope its not the head gaskets or deal is off

I just came from a cammed fbo and stalled g8. It was also lowered a good inch or so. Sold it and bought a 2014

trail 4R. Love it! Sure do miss the power of the g8. Ride quality and the extra room makes up for it though.

ha ha I went from mini trucks and lowrider to a lifted jeep CJ7 and I remember how much fun i had. I would just look for any opportunity to drive over something and loved it. Now I just bought a 4runner and can't wait to get back to the states to play with that. Such a difference though going from looking for ways around speed bumps and scraping of driveways and everything else to just ahh hell drive over that crap no problem.
