Front bumper opinions

Looking for suggestions for new bumpers for my 06Sport.

I got in an accident and basically insurance figured 900$ to fix and replace the bumper cover.

So suggestions for an off road bumper? Mainly light trail use and ranch pastures is where I'm at.

My ARB does the job fine and was pretty affordable.

If I could do it over I would have saved a bit longer and invested in one of the more custom bumpers like Shrockworks, Demello, or the like. Just for the slightly easier fitment, fit, n finish when installing and customization you can have them do on their end before sending it to you.

There are also plenty of options for lighter weight, non plate bumpers. I'm pretty sure regardless of which you go with there will be people who can vouch for any one bumper's quality.

Happy searching!

Are their wait times still crazy? I remember mine was 6mo+ but Mark was a really good about it and threw in a snatch strap and over-nighted me my shackles (when they were accidentally forgotten when they shipped the bumper), so while I waited a while SW did take care of me.

ShrockWorks, Demello, CBI, ect. There's a good handful of quality fabricators for front bumpers, so mainly it comes down to price, weight, and appearance. I like my Shrockworks bumper, though I do like Demellos (even if they are a bit on the "lighter" looking side than the Shrockworks)

I'm not sure of their wait times anymore...I hope better...I got my bumper when we ran the second GB a couple years back...took about 6+ months then so worst case scenario, it's only 6 months to wait for a top quality bumper...Agreed on the DO versus SW debate...SW is heavier built and probably stronger than the 4runner's frame itself! Of course, this is just my opinion and I have nothing to back that belief up with except for personal preference...
