So where do you carry your winch now? There are thousands if not millions of rigs out there with aftermarket bumpers and winches that are insured just fine. For what you were looking for, it turned out great. I'd personally opt to have my winch mounted to a bumper and be done with it. $.02

Sorry to bring one back from the dead but has anyone put one of these Reese front hitches on a fat lip bumper? This thread is old enough even the pictures have disappeared.
By the look of the pictures on amazon the reach of the Reese is much shorter than the Warn. But the Reese actually looks more stout.
