Frontrunner rack lights for side and rear

I am looking to see what light people are running for side and rear lights on their racks. I was thinking something small with a flood light. Something that is more for camp lights around the rig and not long throwing. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of inexpensive 12V lighter-powered LED floodlights and light bars with a magnetic base that you can stick to your rack or roof wherever you need it. I'm thinking of using that solution for camp lights rather than going to the effort and expense of hard-wiring up a bunch of lights I'll rarely use.

Which ones are you looking at? I have not thought about it that way.

4"/100mm LED Flood Light w/ Bracket - by Front Runner

It's Front Runner's 4inch LED flood light. What's great about it is that you install the bracket in the front runner rack channels between the loading slats (what makes up the platform) and when not in use, it can fold back flat between the slats so it's hidden and doesn't make any additional wind noise. This has been an ideal camping light and with a switchpros unit (or there are a couple other options for this), you can use dimming features for even more customization. It has plenty of adjust-ability to aim it for how you want to use it. Just check out the Front Runner website to see the pictures of the multiple ways you can mount it.

The caveat to this is Front Runner wants to charge you $150 (on sale) for the light and the bracket. DDM Tuning sells an almost identical light for $20.

I'm not going to comment on quality differences because I haven't seen the DDM one in person and have no experience with the brand, but I found that after I purchased mine and thought I'd pass along the choice to save a little money to somebody.

With the DDM light, you'd just need a mount for the rack, which Front Runner sells for $40
