Frozen Alignment bolts

Today I went to the stealership for tires and an alignment. ( I only went there because a killer deal on the tires) They told me that they "could not loosen the bolts" and that if they heated it up any more, they would catch the boots on fire. I tried to find out exactly which parts were seized but they did not seem interested to tell me or find out for me. I have had to cut off many bolts on this truck when doing other work so I am sure that things are probably as bad as they can be. I am thinking that it is due for a full suspension refresh anyway with 237k miles. Does anyone know where I could find a parts list of everything I would need to do a complete overhaul? I have already replaced the strut. I know that I will probably need inner/outer tie rod ends, upper/lower ball joints, and sway bar links. But not sure If I should replace the entire control arm or just the bushings. I have tried searching the forum but it seems that every article I find is for a 4th gen. Thanks in advance.

With the mention of boots they are probably talking about jam nuts on the tie rod ends. If that's true you're looking at replacing the tie rod ends and the jam nuts, which are sold separately. I could only find the jam nuts at the dealer.

Sometimes it can be camber adjustment bolts. Those seize. But, if they were talking about catching a boot on fire, I agree with other people that have posted that it would be the outer tie rod end jam nut.

Replacing the LCA/UCA bushings is a huge PITA, but worth the money you will save. If your truck is that rusted, I would recommend new camber adjustment bolts, and sleeves. Happy to help what I can with the bushings as I just did those. Expect to tow your truck to do an alignment after its done.

The 4th Gens are pretty similar in suspension, one main difference is that the 3rd gen UCA are much more universal with adaptations for a lift.

Amayama.com is cheapest for OTR/ITR even after shipping from Japan.
