Matte bronze is now officially sold out. Expected delivery date for our next shipment from Konig is mid-March. We'll keep this thread updated.

Matte black is currently in stock, but quantities are limited.

PM Sent - debating this wheel vs Six Shooter for a 2012 Trail! Also looking for some info on net change of stance between either of those wheels vs stock trail ed wheels :)

For those that purchased, any comments (positive or buyers' remorse) on graphite gunmetal or matte bronze finish? Gunmetal pretty much looks the same picture to picture (looks good). For the bronze, some on vehicle pictures look like a really nice dark bronze (awesome!), but then again, other pictures look lighter gold (meh)...any 1st hand comments? Was color matching your expectation from online photoes? Bouncing between both colors for a blacked out Trail Ed.
 
I purchased the the 16 inch countersteers in gunmetal and I love them. They look exactly like they do in the pictures online. As far as the bronze rims go they are matte so they would look like this all the time.

The matte bronze finish is very hard to accurately capture in a photo. The best description that I can make is that it is a sandy, light brownish bronze with a small amount of metallic flake and a matte (satin) clear coat. It is not particularly gold. Our recent customer, awpsome, just posted some very good photos in various lighting with his description of the bronze finish:

The Countersteer Type X is also available in anthracite light gunmetal. This color is fairly easy to capture in photos, so our photos are very accurate. Anthracite is a light gunmetal finish, darker than silver, but not dark like graphite, with a slight metallic flake and a gloss clear coat.

Graphite gunmetal is not a currently offered factory finish for the Countersteer Type X, but we do offer the Konig Six Shooter in this finish. Graphite gunmetal is also fairly easy to capture in photos, so the photos are very accurate. Graphite is a very dark gunmetal, almost black with some metallic flake, and a gloss clear coat.
 
03/19/2013 Update:

Anthracite light gunmetal and matte black Konig Countersteer Type X 17x8" wheels are back in stock!

I am so glad I bought the anthracite - the color is PERFECT! If I had known what they looked like in person, I wouldn't have debated color so long! The stance is great too!

Here are some picts - duratrac 265's, Bilstein - Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift, bump out sliders not in the photo because temporarily removed (but look much better with the offset wheels):
