Up for sale is my '07 4x4 4th Gen T4R with the mighty V8 and ~226k on the ODO, tastefully modded to be a fun daily and capable weekend getaway rig.
Before I even start - please feel free to read the entire 19 page build thread (LINK HERE) as I've documented my full ownership since the date of purchase!
I'm going to keep this FS listing as clean as possible, as all the modifications and maintenance are listed in the above link.
PROS:
-2UZ V8 Engine running tip top since day 1. Oil changed regularly with Semi-Synthetic Citgo Supergard. This thing just drives!
-Timing Belt recently replaced at 211k, Driveshaft greased regularly, brand new battery. Brakes pads and rotors are good. All maintenance done on two-post auto lift for ease of inspection.
-High Quality Lighting (Baja Designs, Morimoto, PIAA, Profile Performance)
-Cabin driving upgrades include a top of the line Kenwood driving OEM speakers for nice audio and a spoiler-mounted backup camera
-Spray-on Rust Converter on frame, which is in great shape
-Exhaust sounds GREAT. Quiet during cruising, but can be woken up with a bit of gas.
-Currently gets 14-15mpg across the board, rain or snow. Have gotten as good as 17-18 on the right trip.
CONS:
-Icon Upper Control arm Delta Joints should be replaced - new joints included with sale
-Tires have <1 season of life left in them - was waiting to fix UCA joint until fresh tires were installed
-Driver's side amber halo has a few dead LED's
-Treated rust on the inside of back hatch (only visible when liftgate is open)
-Paint abrasion on passenger mirror assembly
-Minimal headlight housing UV peel
-Small chips/ rust under powdercoat on front bumper
SALE INCLUDES:
-The rig (duh)
-Sherpa Princeton Rack (stock Sport rack available as well)
-Custom OrangeBoxx Fab PSD's (can possibly leave bags, towel holder, quick fists, etc.)
-Scoche Magnetic Phone Mount and USB-C Charger/Android Auto integration
-Husky/Weathertech floor and cargo liners
-Misc extra/spare parts from modifications (set of plugs, clips, trim pieces, organizers, etc.)
-All paperwork from my ownership as well as previous owner
Selling because it looks like I'm headed over to the dark (5th Gen) side soon. This has been my DD since September of 2019 and it remains as the most reliable vehicle I have owned, to date. I never got to take this on any hardcore expeditions due to COVID and workload this year, so offroad use is minimal, at best. I'm going to miss this rig and the V8 inside!
