Hey everyone,

Putting up my 2008 Lexus GX for sale as a feeler to see if there is interest on this forum. I bought it for a good price because it needed new calipers and exhaust manifolds, which I knew were to common issues with this engine and setup similar to the 4 Runners. I got it at just about 78k a year or so back.

80k - Full front brake job (Rotors, Pads, and Calipers replaced (Calipers were seizing)
90K - Two new Exhaust Manifolds (Ticking noise was getting out of hand)
90K - Full Timing Belt Kit Installed (Idlers, belt, Water Pump, tensioner, drive belt)
91K - Alternator Replaced - Low Voltage issue
91K - Passenger Air Spring Replaced and entire system checked

Asking $20,000 OBO

I also was torn between this and a 4Runner with the V8 but after jumping into this I am happy I did. Super quiet on the roads compared to the runner and love the truck feel of it. Also full out memory mirrors, seats, and steering wheel helped a lot as the wife and I fought over this for a long time.

I see an opportunity to grab this thing then, it will give you a reason to work harder!

Just kidding. I have to admit I do NOT want to sell this thing at all. Just put a lot into it, runs and drives great and no issues. Wife wants something that is less reliable new than any GX out there even if tipping 200k.

So maybe it will be around for a while and you can check back in.
