In AZ if you buy a used vehicle private party, you don't pay sales tax even upon registration in AZ. Same with OR and ID. Every state is different.

Nice car, why would someone pay $140 cheaper for a used vehicle and be a second owner rather then going getting a brand new truck for 43,140 msrp ( no one pays msrp you can easily get 1k off a the msrp)? I'm just trying to figure out what is running through owners minds of the trds?

I agree. It's a commercially mass-produced vehicle. I don't get how a used vehicle is expected to fetch basically MSRP.
