FS 3rd Gen 4Runner (1999) w. Locker- $6,000 OBO - Connecticut

For sale is my 1999 4Runner Limited. I purchased it after its prior owner shipped it out east to connecticut from where it had spent its entire life, in Seattle. No salt on winter roads in Seattle = No rust on this truck.

I purchased it with 198K miles and put a bit of work into it listed below. The truck currently has 205K miles on it, throws no codes and is a reliable platform for a build going forward.

The following has been done in the 7K miles and almost two years that I have owned the truck:

New General Grabber AT2 Tires (less than 2K miles on them)
New OEM Radiator
New Plugs & Wires
New KN Panel Filter
New IAC valve
Cleaned MAF
Cleaned throttle body
New fuel filter
New exterior lights with Sillverstar bulbs and white LED side markers
Fluid flush and change (Transmission & Diffs)

The truck does have rain guards on the windows as well as front window tint matching the rear. Factory trailer hitch is installed but has not towed under my ownership, or prior owners.

This truck is a very reliable 4Runner, and I am simply looking to see it go to a home that cares for it going forwards. I have used it with the sole purpose of my daily driver in the winter and it has remained garaged when not in use.

You are correct on drivetrain. It has a tan interior with dark tan dash and "wood" trim.

I am the third owner, as I mentioned it spent the majority of its life in Seattle. No trips to the body shop, frame is straight and true as well as all panels and hood/roof.

The owner prior to myself was an engineer with Boeing and took great mechanical care of this 4Runner. It was a great find.

Truck has just been hand washed and is currently parked for the week!

Not trying to low ball you or anything because it sounds like you've taken great care of the truck but for a 2000 with 200k on it (and I ran the numbers in Seattle not the North East) it tops at like $4300. Where in Conn are you located?

The truck is actually a 1999 and based on the offers north of $5k that I have received out of state, I am flexible anywhere between $5,250-$6,000. I am moving to the Hartford area mid July and this truck will be garaged while not in use.

I appreciate the interest, but given the reliability and longevity this truck embodies as well as my lack of need to sell, I do not concur with your thoughts on pricing.

If you could get this rig to me in Phoenix all in and shipped for 6k, I'd probably pull the trigger. I have the money in hand but need some help with logistics due to family commitments and taking care of an older family member... in other words short on time but long on interest and ability to buy
