Well, here's the deal. I'll pay you for both and you ship the passenger side one. I don't need the drivers side. You can keep it. That should lighten the shipping a bit. Would you mind getting a new shipping quote for just the one?

And, how do ya wanna get paid?

I can do paypal or wander over to Wal Mart and wire it to you. Or some other way you think up.

Oh... Do you have the little plastic cap that goes on top of the running board and attaches to the passenger side front wheel well? Not a deal breaker if you don't. Mine is missing that little piece.

I hate to back out of this deal but I'm afraid I must. $160 to ship one running board is just too much.

I did rethink my approach to the problem though. There are so many people around that have removed running boards that there seems to be a kind of running joke about what to do with them.

I posted a local craigslist ad seeking them and got three responses in an hour. I feel like it makes more sense for me to pursue these local leads before going to the extreme measure of having someone ship me one.

Thanks you ever so much for trying to work it out though. If you feel like I owe you anything for your trouble let me know and I'll try to make it right.
