This is the weatherstrip that goes on the body, around the entire tailgate opening. Excellent condition.

can you add some pics of the condition of the rubber? I know you say excellent.
Mine isn’t horrible, but with all the rain we’ve had this year and parking under a tree, mine’s gunked up and going to need some serious elbow grease to get all the grime out of there. Structurally, mine is sound.....it’s just got too much crud in there to make a solid seal now. Just did the exact same thing on my 100 on Friday. Same tree.
Based on the pics of yours....may go your thought just to replace rather than elbow grease mine.

Sure, see below. The rubber is in excellent condition, except for the one tear that I highlighted. It doesn't really affect the sealing, but is a nuisance if you're super picky. Otherwise it's very clean and flexible.
