The light bar looks awesome up there. That's the same setup I'd like to go for as well! One quick question though....do you notice any sort of whistling noise driving at higher speeds? I do not want to put up the wind deflector, because IMHO, it kinda looks silly and out of place on the rack.

Lastly, is that the Rigid 40" E2 series? What are your thoughts of it so far? If you could be so kind, could you take a pic of what it looks like with the light bar on and off?!

Ditch the wind deflector and replace the light bar with a Rigid 40" E2...that's my plan! I do like that look though.

Ton of wind noise without the deflector. Also, to make that electrical run you would need at least 3 #10 from the relay/battery.

Those who have lightbars mounted, can you post a pic please? I'm interested in seeing where/how its mounted and how far in front of the rack it is. From the couple I've seen, it looks a little exposed up front. Thoughts on this?

Also, anyone with Rigid D2s or something similar mounted up on sides or on the back for a camping light?

I think the folks that have light bars have already posted pics in this thread. The rest of us haven't done anything. There are a couple good shots of the front in here as well, from what I recall it's tight from the fairing to the bar so if you have something in mind just ask Alex as I'm sure he can do it.

Alright, thanks. I've checked out the pics in this thread, I didn't know if there were some others out there. I'm having a pretty tough time deciding which way to go on the performance lighting.

Even with 2 bars, you're better off increasing your wire size (if needed) and running in parallel

When I meant lower, I meant #8 (gauge), #6, #4, etc... so basically increasing wire size. #10 is the minimum for 30 Amps @ over 30 foot run.

LOL - then you know better than I do. Took me two runs of 30 feet to figure out that I needed a lot more copper to support the flow.
