2 questions:

1. what kind of warranty are you offering?
2. Are there mounting points in the front/rear for light bars?

Looks good. @%1;You may want to consider some sort of light mounts too.

Oh, if you want to really make it in the market: double your prices, have insanely long lead times and never ever answer a email. :becky:

I am no Ansel Adams but I post better pics of the 3" wide plate that sits across the width in the front for lighting of any type. It will easily handle a 40" light bar. Additional lighting locations can be worked out per order at no additional cost.

This is one of those instances that you can't compare shipping cost in relation to the overall cost of the product do to the size. I don't think the shipping cost is that far out there. I'll get quotes later from other manufactures / sources and see how close they are. Maybe they are cheaper.

+1 I think I paidpaid similar or more for truck freight on my Baja rack.

I like that rack. Here's my question. Seeing as I don't have the shark fin antenna, would the rear of the rack be straight across or would I still receive it with the shark fin wrap around?

Personally, I think that shark fin looks frickin rad.. Even with no antenna I would get the shark fin since I still think it looks good without anything there. But hey, that's just my not-so-humble opinion.

Or you can always buy a fake antenna from eBay and sticky it on there.

It looks really good. Is the metal mesh/grate heavy duty enough to support someone standing on it? A pic of someone standing on it would be cool to assure there's no sag and roof clearance issues. Also a pic of the rear lift gate clearance once open. I assume it works with a gobi ladder?

Btw, a gobi is well over 100# right? This thing is really light at 60#.

It was purposely designed to clear a Gobi ladder and I'll see if I can get a few ladies to pose on the r00f... arty:

Thanks man, I'll be visiting a few PC's Tuesday and hopefully have a price for you folks. The cost of paint and painting has never been calculated into the total cost of the roof racks, simply because I enjoy painting them as much as I do welding them! Besides thats just about the time I crack open a cold one :cheers:

Drabbits, it seems to me the metal mesh would sag if someone stood on it between the cross bars. When will you have your gals up there to test it?

Also, how much taller or shorter is your rack versus the OEM rack on the 5th Gen Trail Edition?

Also, can you post a pic with the wind dam installed?
