Looks sick! How is the wind noise on this rack with sunroof open and closed? Also can you mount a yakima skybox to it? Does it have crossbars?

It comes with two crossbars but you can order more. I have 3 on mine.

It has been 20 weeks last Thursday and still haven't heard back from the last email. The last time I heard, beginning of June, Alex said it would be late the next week when it went to the powder coating. That was five weeks ago, so who knows. If you do order one, make sure you don't need it soon.

i was debating it for a few days but decided to go for it. alex said that it is able to support 100lbs safely and that it can be easily removed. i never use my sunroof anyways.

Anyone else receive an update? I am close in order timeline and am hoping my rack is in this same batch coming back from powdercoat being distributed, but I haven't heard a thing in quite some time.

Caveat would be that my order isn't a 5th gen, this just seems to be the only thread where any useful/timely information is provided.

Got my rack finally. Alex knew I was going on vacation and made sure I got it. It took awhile, but there were some things going on with Alex so I understand. All I can say is this rack is well worth the wait. this is Tahoe with my Tandem Island kayak. Worked beautifully transporting it. Will be taking another trip in August with the RTT.

For those of you who received your racks in the past month or two...you may want to do an inspection. Mine is rusting all over where the mesh is welded to the tubing. The powder coat company didn't do a very good job.
