Best bet is to bring your existing crossbar to a local fabricator and see if they can reproduce it.

I just found this thread!!! I "ordered" a rack 8/24/2016 with the same story that has been previously stated. I just wanted you guys to have an "accurate" list. Thanks for all the good info, glad I'm not alone (I found him randomly on google looking for racks...wish I would have seen this post sooner!!!).

One thing I have not disclosed in this thread is that the rack I received is not what I ordered and I had a very argumentative conversation with Alex regarding this. I do have a TE, no sunroof, because they are just not my thing. I received a rack with a sunroof cutout. Why in the hell would I order it this way? Still waiting for the infill panel, oh and to win the lottery. Wonder which one will happen first.

Aside from the horrible communication and undelivered promises and unrealistic time frames, the rack is quite nice. Honestly, is the price worth all of the hassle, stress, uncertainty, and upfront out of pocket costs, I would say NO.

Reputation is more than just a quality product, it's honesty, timeliness, communication, honesty, honesty and honesty.

For all those considering this rack, from someone that has one, read this post front to back and then go look at the other options and pick one of those. It may cost more in some cases, but should something go wrong or there is an issue, there will be a company there to back up their product.

Dang that's a tough one, a rack with a sunroof for truck with no sunroof.... More and more just keeps piling up on Alex. Hope you can get everything settled soon.

The list is growing, he either definitely bit off more than he could chew, or the stories I have been told from Alex regarding as to why he is backed up are true.

I'm curious now what he has told others as to why they have not received their rack.

True, communication is important.
Off-road warehouse spoiled me this week. I ordered a lift from them and they answered all my questions within minutes and sometimes, seconds thru email. Within a couple min from ordering I had a tracking number with the parts they had in stock and they got them on the way.

Most people get drawn in by the price, I did, but there was only a slight delay when I ordered. I can't understand these people who say "I'm buying a rack and am prepared to wait", Alex's lack of communication and customer services is unbelieved, if i could go back I would buy a gobi instead but now that I have it I love it and I got it for half the price of a gobi so im pretty happy.

Last response I got was December 15, 2016 letting me know my rack was ready to ship. It is now January 28, 2017 and no rack or update/email/text/call since December.

Two words...Class Action. A single member needs to represent the group for past, present and future damages. The court system likes a class action over individual due to it's efficiency and amount of evidence/proof. I just received a class action settlement check (2k) that I wasn't even aware of....pretty crazy.

Well if someone wants to take the time and effort to file a case, please go ahead. I considered it but for me in my situation I decided I was better off not, I got my rack I payed for, ya it took a lil while but I got it so I wont be filling a case any time soon.

Good on you, I know I filed a claim already with my bank, I'm willing to provide all details as well all documented reasons why he couldn't finish the rack I ordered as well if it helps.

Not really, a class action requires numerality, which means so many plaintiffs that they cannot practically sue on their own. That is not the case here.
