Well this day finally arrived. The rack was delivered! It took 21 months to happen, but Alex did deliver. The length of time is inexcusable but to the best of my knowledge Alex has not taken money and not delivered a rack. Racks have been delivered out of order and that is upsetting. I hope everyone eventually gets there racks.

I went with the Fourtreks mounts and the ARB 2500. I'm glad I got the 2500, the extra coverage will be quite nice. And it mounted easily to the rack. I have it mounted as far back as it can go and just misses the open liftgate by about 1/4".

I think you live near me. I have seen you in the Kennydale area a few times. Used to have a very modified green 3rd gen and now a silver GX470

I just wanted to update everyone that I finally got my rack for my third gen from Alex. I pick it up yesterday. Alex deliver despite all the hurdles he had to go through. I told him about the other members who still have not gotten their racks. I suggest you contact him so he make things right. I will be selling my rack if anyone is interested. I no longer need it since I have a Gobi. The rack has the sunroof insert and two removal cross bars.

This is probably a long shot, but is there anyone who isn’t using their cross rails and would like to sell them? I just picked up a 2015 Pro and it has this rack on it, but no crossrails.

I contacted drabbits about possibly getting some crossbars. After offering potential same day shipping, I was asked to send funds using Chase Quick Pay, which offers zero buyer protection.

Have you read this entire post. It's no wonder he wants funding that is non-reversible because many people have filed claims against him. It's you money, if you don't need it, I'll PM you my routing and account number.

I went out on a limb and sent him funds via PayPal. After multiple emails over a weeks time, and a PayPal dispute (I wasn’t going to sit and wait after multiple “I’ll ship them out tomorrow” claims), I have received my crossbars and they fit perfectly.

Good product, terrible representation, as cited in this thread.

If anybody in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area has one of these racks and is looking to sell, I will gladly take it off your hands. Frankly i think this rack is better than the Gobi Stealth but the 6mos lead time for Gobi is bad enough, I'm not about to sign myself up for a 1.5 year lead time.
