Long block is out of a 99' Limited with 234k miles.
Developed rod knock and was parked shortly after and not driven on.
When i pulled the pan i only found 2-3 shavings of metal and the oil was decently clean. It was very clean comparing to other motors ive rebuilt that had knock. That being said i don't think the crank is in to bad of shape and will only need the minimal grind if being rebuilt.
The heads are still in great shape.
The car still ran great other than the knock. No smoke or issues with it.
We decided to throw in a JDM motor into the car and that is why this motor is now for sale.
When using a JDM motor it is necessary to swap some parts over to work. So this is a list of JDM parts that are now on the motor that is for sale.
Complete throttle body
Exhaust manifolds
Oil cooler block plate
Oil pan and pickup tube (rear sump) Tacoma?
Motor mounts
Other than that everything is still USDM 4runner spec parts.
Also included is
Spare JDM water pump (does not use oil cooler) OEM in great shape
Auto USDM flywheel
JDM motor mounts (tacoma)
JDM AC bracket
USDM clutch fan
Brand new aftermarket head gaskets
Coil packs and wires are not included. Everything else pictured is included.
