I have nothing to do with this listing. This is the first one red one that I have seen for sale, but the price is still ridiculous.

Yeah they are crazy with that one and it even has scratches on it. I found one in Utah that was pristine for $150, but it literally sold 10 minutes before I called. I was pissed, but will keep looking.

Where is that eBay seller located? I couldn't find that information. The hood will probably look just fine when it is buffed out, but you might be able to use the current condition to get the price under $300. I would send him a message or make an offer. No one is going to buy that hood for $628.

These red ones are hard to find - before this one I've never seen one for sale myself. If this is anywhere close to you I would try and get it.
 
The yard is located in Southern California, but I talked to them on the phone a few months ago and wouldn't go below $500, not including shipping. They don't seem like they want to ship it either. Way too much for just a hood for me.

I would offer them $350 to $400 for it and pay with a credit card or send a money order. If you have a friend local there ask him bring by $400 cash... I think it would be hard for them to turn down 4 bills staring them in the face. Ask them to hold it for you until the next time you are in southern California. You might find a fellow forum member heading to Santa Cruz, so you might get it sooner anyway.

I sell most of my Sport hoods between $350 and $375, but red might be so rare that it is worth more... I'm not sure because of the 6 colors red is the only color I haven't sold yet.
