FS: XM Satellite Radio Fit Kit , 4th Gen, $65

Pulled from my 2007 Sport when I upgraded my radio. Professionally installed by the dealership, as my T4R did not come with this originally. Paid $280 I think for it way back when.

Unit is in perfect working condition. Comes with the XM unit and all wiring needed EXCEPT for the antenna (which can be purchased aftermarket for like $20).

Asking $65 shipped via USPS. Willing to barter down if need be.

apologies if this is a stupid question - does this take the place of the factory radio or does it mount elsewhere? i have an 07 sport as well. can it be controlled by the steering wheel controls?

This unit is factory and designed for many Toyota vehicles. For the factory T4R radios in the 4th gen, you need the AM-SAT button for the functionality to work. I had the lowest model radio in my 2007 Sport when I purchased it, and had to buy the next model up to fit the double din opening. You would need something like this for non-JBL audio and something like this for JBL units. You can find them floating around this site once and a while; I picked up mine for like $50 a number of years ago on ebay. Many of the later model factory navigation have this already built in.

The harnesses plug into the back of the radio unit, and the actual XM receiver can be mounted anywhere there is room. The dealership installed mine underneath my passenger's seat and ran the cables underneath the carpet, up the sill and behind the dash into the unit. The antenna was mounted in the passenger side of the windshield, and I had no issues with reception or lack of clarity.

All steering controls are integrated and function normally.
